Kinah is the focal point of almost every Aion player out there. It is used for nearly everything in the game and you need to gather it into large enough numbers to be effective in the various different aspects of gameplay. That includes a number of quests that require huge chunks of Kinah, some chances to exchange Kinah for XP and the wing upgrades you'll be doing starting at Level 30. It also costs Kinah to upgrade your profession skills and your warehouse slots. Everything is expensive and it takes so long to make Kinah - but there are some tricks to the trade.

1. Farm on More than One Thing at Once

When you go to farm for Kinah, make sure there is more than one thing at a time you can farm for. This includes both items that you can gather off of mobs, as well as extraction nodes and the possible rare or named mob in the area. If you do this effectively, you can be sure that you are never standing around, not doing anything. Another option is to go to the Abyss where you can farm on Balaur mobs that always drop a variety of rare and valuable items.

2. Specialize Your Private Store

The Private Store is a unique and valuable option in the game. However, it needs to be effectively utilized to make any serious profits from. This means that you should specialize your offerings to just one category or type of item. You should also find a good hot spot to sell your goods and make sure to set a schedule of when you will be there. If you become the character that always sells a variety of leathers at a good price between 6 and 7pm each night near the Temple of the Artisans, you're going to do much better than if you just appear randomly throughout the game every time you feel like making some Kinah.

3. Create a Trade Broker Plan

This last strategy should be familiar if you've played MMOs before. It allows you to make more Kinah from the various ways that you are playing the game, but only if you keep a keen eye on the economy and what is valuable at the moment. To take advantage of the Trade Broker effectively, you need to focus on getting some solid profits off of the items you are already gathering as well as buying up things that you find there for a good profit.

If you follow these tips every time you log into the game, you are going to make a far greater amount of Kinah than if you just randomly run around the game trying to find mobs to kill.
